With its Artisans’ Market, seminars and interactive workshops and a food and beverage market, Chelsea Barracks transforms its Garden Squares to celebrate the start of Spring.

From the 24th - 27th May 2023 Chelsea Barracks will return with its second Spring Fair. This year the Fair is being held in collaboration with House & Garden magazine, further cementing the development as a destination to sample the very best of British food and beverage, artisanal inspired products and workshops and seminars curated by Jo Thompson from pioneers in the design and garden world.

To champion independent makers, The Artisans’ Market will also return this year. Curated by Chelsea Barracks and House & Garden, Mulberry Square will be transformed once more into a marketplace for all to enjoy. From fabrics, interiors and garden accessories to vintage jewellery and beauty products, this year there will be something for everyone to take home.

Seminars & Workshops

During the Fair there will be a series of insightful seminars hosted by House & Garden editors, in conversation with leading tastemakers in interiors, art, design and gardens. Chelsea Barracks will also run a series of interactive workshops curated in collaboration with internationally renowned landscape & garden designer, and Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist Jo Thompson. Themes range from how to grow flowers for your home by Georgie Newbery to the nature-inspired process of jewellery design by Theo Fennell. Further hosts include James Alexander, Mark Diacono and Minnow & Wolf and Nikki Tibbles, to name a few.

Discover Garrison Square

Garrison Square, the heart of the Chelsea Barracks community and home to the historical Garrison Chapel, will be a destination to enjoy a relaxed bite, cooling gelato or a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage. New restaurant, The Campaner, will also be open - offering relaxed all-day dining with Barcelona soul in the Square’s beautiful landmark building designed by architect Ben Pentreath.

Experience the Sculpture Trail

Chelsea Barracks also invites visitors to explore its open spaces during the Fair with its fourth sculptural trail curated by Marshall Murray. The trail showcases a variety of work from world-class female artists, promoting equality within the art world and providing a platform in a central London public space to showcase their work.
